Alex Greyson is passionate about helping tween and teen girls navigate the twists, turns, and triumphs of growing up with confidence, kindness, and self-worth. After raising a stepdaughter and a boy from their tween years through adolescence, this perspective has been shaped by witnessing some of life’s most tender and toughest transitions up close.
There is a deep understanding of how big emotions can feel at this age: the friendship drama that can ruin an entire week, the self-doubt that appears without warning, and the quiet moments when a girl simply needs someone to say, “What you’re feeling makes sense.” There have been tearful outbursts, whispered bedtime worries, and the slow, beautiful process of watching a young girl discover who she truly is.
Those experiences sparked a mission to create honest, engaging guidance every girl deserves. Not preachy or watered down, but practical tools that meet girls exactly where they are.
From leading Girl Scout workshops to creating safe spaces where girls can explore their emotions and build stronger friendships, the approach is heartfelt and hands-on. It blends real-life scenarios with the understanding that tween and teen girls need more than advice. They need to feel seen, heard, and celebrated.
Confidence Code Workbook for Tween Girls (Ages 8–12) is published by Candor Press. It pairs practical, research-backed insight with warmth and encouragement to help girls build emotional intelligence, resilience, and self-love. Also authored are Tween Girls Puberty Confidence Code, an honest, body-positive guide to navigating the changes of growing up, and Confidence Code for Dads, a supportive guide to strengthening the father-daughter bond.
Through this work, conversations around growing up are becoming less scary, more empowering, and deeply human. Every girl deserves to feel proud of who she is becoming.
